Pinky

I am reposting from last week's pinks which I didn't get turned in on time.

When I was a little girl, my mother loved to dress me in pink.  I could never understand why, since I had bright red hair.  Several aunts and uncles called me Pinky which irritated me  to no end.  As the years passed I learned to like pink and even enjoyed it in my  bedroom.

How about a yummy pink doughnut!

I love Gerbera Daisies!

What delightful pink beauties!

My pink knockouts, now in full bloom and gorgeous!

Daughter just got new pink tennies.

These are just a few new pinks, counter pinks in one of our bathrooms, the little bouquet of pinks has the top of one red headed boy in it.  I just had to leave it in there.

The first bud on one of my new pink roses, can't remember the name of it.

Allie is a week old.

And, the best pink of all!  Allie is 19 months now.

Yes, I have decided pink is a lovely color.  Have a wonderful weekend one and all!

Welcome to Pink Saturday! Love all your flowers and esp. that adorable granddaughter. Peeking through your blog I see that you and your state have gone through more than your share of disasters. It is beyond devastating to watch this current situation out in the gulf. Prayerfully, something SUBSTANTIAL will be done soon to stop any further damage.
