Out of doors

It has been a nice day here in Oklahoma.  Not too hot and of course, our usual breeze.  We need to enjoy these days when we have them, as it won't be long until we can't really enjoy the out of doors.  We are all so air conditioned bound!

R planted these four red knockout roses last weekend.  They
are down the side of this fence and will, hopefully, by next year cover this ugly fence.

I planted these hydrangeas last year and thought they might not have survived our hard winter, but survive they did and even now have blooms.  They are a little wilted but will perk up with a little bath.

This is an Asian lily that I planted two years ago and now there are four of them and so beautiful.

This hosta is in a pot and undoubtedly loves it  here in this spot.
This little basket of impatiens are just leftovers from the bed below them, but they are growing like crazy and like it here.  Nothing really fancy here, but we love it and it's home.
Have a sweet Wednesday!

Any time you plant something last year, and it's blooming and happy this year - good for you - enjoy!

Your flowers are lovely. Those knock out roses and hydrangea will grow quickly. My hydrangeas wilt in the heat of the day too, but revive themselves at night.

Mary Anne, first time here. I discovered your blog from Susan, her Outdoor Wednesday she hosts. Your blog opened and I said "Ohhhhh, it's stunning. I love your red poppy header and your wallpaper by aqua poppy. Such beautiful combo with your photography. Don't you love aqua poppy? Such talent there also. Your hostas are beautiful and your varigated hostas is my favorite hosta of all time. So glad I found you from Susan.
