A Bit of Red Here and There

I have been working on some valentine decorations for the last couple of days.  I know better a little late than never.

This first thing is a wreath I began on Saturday.  I decided I could make it cheaper than I could buy one and wouldn't you know I didn't get enough roses.  They were 2 bunches for $3.00 on Sat.  On Monday when I went back to Michaels, they were back to $2.99 for each.  There went my so called bargain.

This is just some simple little items that I grouped for a centerpiece, but I am sure I'll change it up during the next few days.  I always do.

Here you can see the edge of the table with the wreath in progress when I ran out of roses.  I don't know why but I never remember or think to take before pictures.  About the time I finish a project, I think why didn't I take before pictures.  Oh well, maybe someday!

And now, here is a little vignette on the mantle, just some simple little candles, a tiny cloche and a bargain red decoration, tree, pyramid, whatever, from Big Lots for $.80.

And now, here is the finished wreath project, so sorry for the flash, however, it was too dark to take these photos without the flash.
