Questions


1. Do you like your ice cream in a dish, waffle cone, pretzel cone, sugar cone or cake cone?

I like ice cream in all of the above, however, I do love me some waffle cone.

2. Do you read the newspaper daily?

Oh yes, always have, always will.  How else can one keep up with what is going on in Wonderland?

3. Marinara or meat sauce?

Marinara that I make with fresh herbs from my container garden.  We try not to eat too much meat, so this seems to be one way to cut down.  Don't be fooled by the picture, there is no meat in this sauce.

4. Last time you cried?

When I had to leave my greats yesterday.  Aren't they so cute!!

5. What word/phrase do you find really annoying?

Oh, don't get me started on this.  Why do people think we are such idiots?  It has to be "do you know what I'm sayin!!!"  This is followed closely by "does that make sense?"

We are back in OKC now, finally in our own bed.  Is everyone this way, or it just me, but my bed is the best in the world and it was so nice  last night to be back there.

Yes, this is my bedroom, in case you were wondering. (not)

This is what we left behind in Tennessee.  They grew so much the two weeks we were there.  I loved rocking feeding and bathing them, so sweet and all over 7lbs. now and not even to their due date for another week. 

 It snowed everyday to some extent while we were there with the exception of the last two days.  Now we hear an artic front is coming our way and we can look forward to some more snow, just hope we skip the ice stuff.

We were so glad to see our little redheaded boy, Quinn, and he was happy to see us.  He told his mother earlier yesterday, that he was worried about us.

Well I am looking at luggage to empty and stuff to put away so I'd best get after it, because, I don't think there are any good fairies that are going to do it for me.

So sorry everyone, I am still in Tennessee sans camera.  There isn't really lots of exciting stuff going on when you are helping with 3 newborns so haven't been blogging.  The babies are all over 7 lbs now, so are beginning to "sort of" notice things.  We plan to go home on Saturday, if weather permits.  We had snow overnight and supposed to have more during this week. 

Stay safe, stay warm and stay inside if you don't have to travel.  Have a fun week!

Baby Nurse

Guess who is in Tennessee helping with 3 babies. You guessed it, ME! They are really sweet. S and J started the 4 hour feeding schedule on Monday, the day we got here. They seem to be doing well on it, and that affords a little more sleep for the worn out parents. Last night I helped with the bath process and Konner preceded to poop big time and pee all over me and everything close-by. Needless to say, they even had to change the sheets on their bed when all was said and done. Oh well, just an integral part of babyhood. I cooked dinner last night, one of Sarah's favorites, salmon croquettes and mac and cheese.

Cloudy here today, may make a runs to Sam's and Walmart, haven't decided.
