Questions:

1.  How do you order your steak?
Always medium rare and most of the time waiters look at me like, are you sure about that?  I hate to pay the price of a good steak and then have it cooked so dry that it might as well be
cardboard for all the flavor it has.

2.  Are you superstitious about anything?
I am not overly fond of walking under ladders, not sure it's superstition or just a fear of getting a bucket of paint on my head!

3.  Who is your best friend (not including your spouse)?
My best friend is Elvira Pannell.  She lives in Virginia and we don't see each other but every 20 years or so, but talk about once a month on the phone and our conversation never wains.

4.  When is the last time your wore a dress (for the guys...a suit)?
I wore a dress in August when our granddaughter, Sarah, graduated from Austin Peay University.  She has since birthed triplets.

As you can see I have to carry my sword when I wear a dress, it's simply to fight THEM off!

5.  Do you have any trips scheduled?

Not really, probably go to Louisiana after Christmas to see our family there.  Then probably, to Venice or Paris in the spring.

Update

Thanks so much for asking about our babies.  They are doing very well.  Konner is now 4'6" and almost ready to go home, maybe by Christmas.  He had the most apnea spells so, they want to make sure he is over those.  Both of the girls are weighing just over 4 lbs. and have not had apnea in a week now.  They are being fed by bottle every other feeding and taking about an ounce.  They have to be on full bottle feeding before they can go home.

All bathed and clean with big girl and big boy clothes on for the first time.

Look at Kennedy, she's so alert and looks like she knows what her Mommy is saying.

Kyleigh just out of her bath and feeling cold.

Konner all clean and warm.

Konner wanted between his sisters.

I have done other things the last few days than think about these sweet babes.  We have about completed the decorating and have taken pictures and will get around to getting them on the computer tomorrow.

Questions:

1. What is your favorite kind of cheese?

I like just plain old rat cheese, hoop or in other words cheddar.

2. What size is your bed?

We recently bought a new mattress set, a king size, of course.

3. What is your most overused phrase?

I realize that I say really an awfully lot!

4. Green or purple grapes?

Green being my favorite color, green of course.

5. Shower, morning or night?

I've always showered in the morning, even when I worked and now that I am retired, still in the morning.

OUR TRIPLETS ARE HERE!!!!!!

I am finally getting better, after taking the second round of some powerful meds which made me sicker at times than the illness.  I couldn't eat or sleep very well, but am doing much better now.  So much has happened.  I had to blog this so you could see what has transpired in our family since I last blogged.

Our triplet great grandbabies were born on Sat. Nov. 20th at 31 weeks  and were unbelievably  healthy.  They weighed  in the lower 3 lb. range, lost as usual, and are now back up to birth weight.

We are so thankful that they are all healthy and doing well.

This is Konner.  He was the largest at 3' 5".

Kennedy, the smallest at 3, and the diva of the trio.

This is Kyleigh, the middle child, at 3' 3".  Notice her cool shades.  The babes were under the lamp for a couple of days to prevent jaundice.

Debra, Quinn and I drove to Nashville Sunday.  It was a long hard trip for me, still weak, but determined to see these babies.  So far, I've gotten to hold two of them and feed Konner by his feeding tube. They are now being fed by bottle every other feeding.  Sucking the bottle makes them so tired.  One of the nurses said its like running three or four miles for them.

 I am feeling much better not 100% yet but better each day.  We will be heading back to OKC on Friday and I will probably be boring you with more pictures.

We give thanks and praise to God for these sweet babes and wish them a long and happy life.
